![]() There was also a pool (billiards) table on the 2nd floor, along with a shuffleboard table. There was also a small round jacuzzi near the pool. However we were the only ones in there at the time we used it. The pool was decently sized, although I can imagine it could get quite crazy with lots of kids in there. Amenities: We were quite floored with the amenities. Not much space in the shower to put your own personal shampoo/soap on. Shower had very good flow and got quite hot, but the dial was hard to adjust from either very hot to slightly warm. Sink was very clean but the water never was too hot or too cold. The hotel should put a sign at hallway entrances asking customers to be quiet in these areas. Finally the walls seemed thin as we could hear lots of people screaming and running down the hallways at least until 1 am. Limited drawer space if you really want to spread out. There was a safe in the coat closet to keep your valuables. ![]() Refrigerator was large, there was a teapot and complimentary tea to make. The smoke alarm had a very bright light which also flickered all night. The clock in the room was so bright that we had to unplug it in order to sleep. The room itself was very very small, not much room to walk around. But the decor was very bland, and the blankets were way too heavy and hot for our tastes. The mattresses were not too firm, not too soft. I personally woke up in the morning slightly wheezy. If you are an allergy sufferer, there was no option for featherless pillows. The room never got down to 66, so why did the A/C turn off? We stayed in the room with 2 queen beds. We had the thermostat set to 66, and yet the air conditioner still kept turning off and on all night long, which was the first reason we didn't sleep well. One hook on the back door of the bathroom. First major problem for the room: Lack of towel racks. ![]() Staff receptionists were very helpful, however there should have been more than 2 working there as I frequently needed to wait in a line in order to check in or check out or get rental equipment. ![]() Free local newspapers Town Topics and US 1 as well as USA Today available here. ![]()
